Statistical analysis of a subset of the string theory landscape
Florian Gmeiner

TL;DR
This paper statistically analyzes a specific class of string theory compactifications, focusing on intersecting brane models and their potential to resemble the MSSM, revealing correlations between model properties.
Contribution
It provides a novel statistical analysis of a particular orientifold background in string theory, highlighting correlations and MSSM-like solutions.
Findings
Identifies correlations between gauge group properties and matter content.
Finds a subset of models resembling the MSSM.
Compares statistical properties across different backgrounds.
Abstract
An analysis of a special class of type II string theory compactifications is presented. We focus on recent work in one particular orientifold background of intersecting brane models and the resulting four dimensional gauge group and matter content. Special attention is paid to solutions that resemble the gauge group of the MSSM. Statistical correlations between properties of the models are analysed and compared to results on different backgrounds.
