Abstract
The Commission 11 (C11) on Particles and Fields of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) supervises the organization of the main conferences in particle physics. In the period 2007-2008 it has been active in the oversight and venue selection for the ICHEP and Lepton Photon Conferences, establishment of the new conference on Technology and Instrumentation in Particle Physics (TIPP), the selection of the prize winners for the IUPAP Young Scientist Prize in Particle Physics and the establishment of a working group on the "Assessment of Individual Achievements in Large Collaborations in Particle Physics".
