CP violation in B decays to charm and charmonium at Belle
K. Vervink

TL;DR
This paper reports on measurements of CP violation in B meson decays to charm and charmonium states using a large data sample from the Belle experiment, providing insights into matter-antimatter asymmetry.
Contribution
It presents new measurements of polarization, CP-violation parameters, branching fractions, and charge asymmetries in specific B decay modes, enhancing understanding of CP violation.
Findings
Measured polarization fraction and CP-violation parameters in B^0→D^{*+}D^{*-} decays.
Determined branching fraction and charge asymmetry in B^{±}→ψ(2S)π^{±} decays.
Provided results consistent with the Standard Model predictions.
Abstract
We present the study of CP violation in charm and charmonium decays, using a data sample corresponding to 657 \times 10^6 BBbar events collected with the Belle detector at the \Upsilon(4S) resonance at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e^+e^- collider. We report measurements of the polarization fraction and time-dependent CP-violation parameters of the decay B^0\to D^{*+}D^{*-} and of the branching fraction and charge asymmetry in the decay of the Cabibbo- and color-suppressed process B^{\pm} \to \psi(2S) \pi^{\pm}.
