Duality Theorem for Motives
Ivan Panin, Serge Yagunov

TL;DR
This paper establishes a general duality theorem for motives using a Dold--Puppe category approach, extending existing duality results to motives over fields of any characteristic.
Contribution
It introduces a new duality theorem for motives based on a Dold--Puppe category framework, generalizing previous duality results to arbitrary base field characteristics.
Findings
Proves a general duality theorem for the category of motives.
Extends Friedlander--Voevodsky duality to all base field characteristics.
Provides a new categorical approach to duality in motive theory.
Abstract
Using Dold--Puppe category approach to the duality in topology, we prove general duality theorem for the category of motives. As one of the applications of this general result we obtain, in particular, a generalization of Friedlander--Voevodsky's duality to the case of arbitrary base field characteristic.
