Lorentz invariance, vacuum energy, and cosmology
F.R. Klinkhamer

TL;DR
This paper reviews a novel approach to the cosmological constant problem using a conserved relativistic microscopic variable q, analyzing vacuum energy behavior and its cosmological implications.
Contribution
It introduces a new framework based on a conserved variable q to address vacuum energy and the cosmological constant problem.
Findings
Vacuum energy density statics are analyzed.
Dynamics of vacuum energy in cosmology are explored.
Potential implications for cosmological models are discussed.
Abstract
This contribution reviews recent work on a new approach to the cosmological constant problem, which starts from the macroscopic behavior of a conserved relativistic microscopic variable q. First, the statics of the vacuum energy density is discussed and, then, the dynamics in a cosmological context.
