Comments on Holographic Fermi Surfaces
Hsien-Hang Shieh, Greg van Anders

TL;DR
This paper investigates the conditions under which a holographic model of large N QCD with baryon chemical potential develops a Fermi surface, confirming the mechanism's persistence in certain models.
Contribution
It identifies a class of holographic models where the mechanism for Fermi surface formation remains valid, extending previous findings.
Findings
The mechanism persists in a specific class of models.
Certain holographic constructions support Fermi surface development.
The study clarifies conditions for Fermi surface emergence in holographic QCD.
Abstract
Recently, a mechanism for the development of a fermi surface in a holographic model of large N QCD with a baryon chemical potential was proposed. We examine similar constructions to determine when this mechanism persists. We find a class of models in which it does.
