Chern-Simons-Matter Theory and Mirror Symmetry
Daniel Louis Jafferis, Xi Yin

TL;DR
This paper explores supersymmetric Chern-Simons-matter theories, revealing mirror symmetry and quantum corrections, and connects these theories to known superconformal field theories at infrared fixed points.
Contribution
It demonstrates the manifestation of mirror symmetry in Chern-Simons-matter theories and analyzes quantum corrections to their moduli spaces, linking to N=4 QED fixed points.
Findings
Mirror symmetry exchanges Coulomb and Higgs branches in the theories.
Small Chern-Simons level theories describe IR fixed points of N=4 QED.
Quantum corrections modify the moduli space structure.
Abstract
In this paper we study supersymmetric Chern-Simons-matter (CSM) theories with several Higgs branches. Two such theories at small Chern-Simons level are conjectured to describe the superconformal field theory at the infrared fixed point of N = 4 QED with N_f = 2, 3. In particular, the mirror symmetry which exchanges the Coulomb and Higgs branches of N = 4 QED with N_f = 2 is manifest in the Chern-Simons-matter description. We also study the quantum corrections to the moduli space of a class of N = 2 CSM theories.
