Eugenio Montefusco, Benedetta Pellacci, Marco Squassina

TL;DR
This paper investigates the behavior of solitons in coupled nonlinear Schrödinger systems with variable potentials, focusing on their dynamics in the semiclassical limit using ground state solutions as initial data.
Contribution
It introduces a novel analysis of soliton dynamics in CNLS systems with nonconstant potentials, expanding understanding of their semiclassical behavior.
Findings
Characterization of soliton trajectories in variable potentials
Asymptotic behavior of solutions in the semiclassical limit
Conditions for stability and concentration of solitons
Abstract
The soliton dynamics in the semiclassical limit for a weakly coupled nonlinear focusing Schr\"odinger systems in presence of a nonconstant potential is studied by taking as initial data some rescaled ground state solutions of an associate elliptic system.
