TL;DR
This paper introduces a new quantum control strategy using a single auxiliary subsystem to manipulate the state and entanglement of a quantum system, enabling state preservation and entanglement control.
Contribution
It proposes a novel protocol leveraging a single auxiliary subsystem for quantum state and entanglement control, which was not previously demonstrated.
Findings
Effective state preservation demonstrated
Controlled entanglement degree achieved
Single auxiliary subsystem suffices for control
Abstract
We present a strategy to control the evolution of a quantum system. The novel aspect of this protocol is the use of a \emph{single auxiliary subsystem}. Two applications are given, one which allows for state preservation and another which controls the degree of entanglement of a given initial state.
