TL;DR
This paper introduces a simplified photomultiplier tube (PMT) model that accurately reproduces its saturation profile and clarifies its operational principles, aiding in understanding and predicting PMT behavior.
Contribution
The paper presents a new simplified PMT model that effectively matches experimental data and enhances understanding of PMT operation.
Findings
Successfully reproduces PMT saturation profile
Provides clearer understanding of PMT working principles
Matches available experimental data
Abstract
A simplified model is proposed based on the characteristics of the photomultiplier tube (PMT). The Model is compared to the available data, and it successes to reproduce the saturation profile of the PMT. The model also adds clarification about how the PMT works.
