A Search for $B^+ \to \ell^+ \nu_{\ell}$ Recoiling Against $B^{-}\to D^{0} \ell^{-}\bar{\nu} X$
The BABAR Collaboration: B. Aubert, et al

TL;DR
This paper searches for B+ decays to leptons and neutrinos using a large dataset, providing measurements and limits on branching fractions, and estimating the B meson decay constant with implications for the Standard Model.
Contribution
First measurement of B+ to tau+ nu_tau branching fraction using recoil technique, with combined results and new upper limits on other leptonic decays.
Findings
Measured B+ to tau+ nu_tau branching fraction: (1.8 ± 0.8 ± 0.1) × 10^{-4}
Set upper limits on B+ to e+ nu_e and mu+ nu_mu decays
Estimated B meson decay constant f_B = 230 ± 57 MeV
Abstract
We present a search for the decay in decays recorded with the Babar detector at the SLAC PEP-II -Factory. A sample of events with one reconstructed exclusive semi-leptonic B decay () is selected, and in the recoil a search for signal is performed. The is identified in the following channels: , , , and . The analysis strategy and the statistical procedure is set up for the branching fraction extraction or upper limit determination. We determine from the dataset a preliminary measurement of $\mathcal{B}(\B^+ \to \tau^+ \nu_{\tau})…
