A Criticism of the article "An experimental test of non-local realism"
Daniel Victor Tausk

TL;DR
This paper critically examines an influential experiment on non-local realism, highlighting inaccuracies in the original claims about Bell's theorem and clarifying misconceptions about the role of realism in Leggett's inequality.
Contribution
It provides a detailed critique of the experimental claims, emphasizing the misinterpretation of Bell's theorem and the distinction between realism and the assumptions used in Leggett's inequality.
Findings
Identifies incorrect claims about Bell's theorem in the original article
Clarifies that 'realism' was not used in deriving Leggett's inequality
Highlights the importance of precise assumptions in quantum tests
Abstract
I make some critical comments on the article "An experimental test of non-local realism", by S. Groblacher, T. Paterek, R. Kaltenbaek, C. Brukner, M. Zukowski, M. Aspelmeyer, & A. Zeilinger, Nature 446, p. 871-875 (2007). This article makes incorrect claims concerning Bell's theorem. Moreover, I point to the fact that a hypothesis referred to as "realism" in the article (Groblacher et al.) is not used in the deduction of Leggett's inequality.
