Inclusive high Q2 cross sections and QCD and EW fits at HERA
A. D. Tapper (for the H1, ZEUS collaborations)

TL;DR
This paper presents recent measurements of deep inelastic scattering cross sections at HERA, compares them with Standard Model predictions, and uses the data to refine proton structure and electroweak parameters, enhancing our understanding of QCD and electroweak interactions.
Contribution
It provides the latest polarized lepton scattering data, detailed QCD analyses, and electroweak parameter extractions, extending previous HERA results and comparisons with other colliders.
Findings
Measured cross sections agree with Standard Model predictions.
Refined proton parton distribution functions from HERA data.
Electroweak parameters extracted and compared with LEP and Tevatron results.
Abstract
The latest measurements of the cross sections for neutral and charged current deep inelastic scattering in e+/-p collisions at HERA with longitudinally polarised lepton beams are presented. The measured cross sections are compared with the predictions of the Standard Model. Next-to-leading-order QCD analyses of HERA data are also presented. The analyses yield the parton distribution functions of the proton and are extended to also extract electroweak parameters. The determinations from HERA are compared with those from LEP and the Tevatron.
