Semileptonic $B_{q}\to D^{\ast}_{q}l\nu $ $(q=s, d, u)$ transitions in QCD
M. Bayar, K. Azizi

TL;DR
This paper calculates the form factors for semileptonic B_q to D_q* decays using QCD sum rules, compares with heavy quark effective theory, and evaluates decay widths and branching ratios.
Contribution
It provides new QCD sum rule calculations of form factors for B_q to D_q* decays and compares them with heavy quark effective theory predictions.
Findings
Form factors are computed in QCD sum rules framework.
Decay widths and branching ratios are evaluated.
Results are compared with heavy quark effective theory predictions.
Abstract
The form factors relevant to decays are calculated in the framework of the three point QCD sum rules approach. The heavy quark effective theory prediction of the form factors are obtained. The total decay width and branching ratio for these decays are also evaluated using the dependencies of these form factors.
