M. L\'opez de Haro, A. Santos, and S. B.Yuste

TL;DR
This paper proposes a simple equation of state for hard disks on the hyperbolic plane, accurately capturing the second virial coefficient and packing limits, with validation against recent theories and simulations.
Contribution
Introduces a novel, simple equation of state for hyperbolic hard disks that matches key theoretical and simulation benchmarks.
Findings
Accurately reproduces the second virial coefficient.
Features a pole at maximum packing density.
Aligns well with recent theoretical and simulation data.
Abstract
A simple equation of state for hard disks on the hyperbolic plane is proposed. It yields the exact second virial coefficient and contains a pole at the highest possible packing. A comparison with another very recent theoretical proposal and simulation data is presented.
