Precise Determinations of the Charm Quark Mass
Matthias Steinhauser

TL;DR
This paper discusses two distinct methods for precisely determining the charm quark mass, both yielding consistent results with approximately 1% uncertainty, highlighting advancements in quark mass measurement accuracy.
Contribution
It introduces and compares two new independent approaches for extracting the charm quark mass with high precision.
Findings
Both methods agree on the charm quark mass value within 1% uncertainty.
The approaches rely on different experimental and theoretical inputs.
The results improve the precision of charm quark mass measurements.
Abstract
In this contribution two recent analyses for the extraction of the charm quark mass are discussed. Although they rely on completely different experimental and theoretical input the two methods provide the same final results for the charm quark mass and have an uncertainty of about 1%.
