TL;DR
This paper derives the full set of conditions on moduli parameters in N=4 superstring theories that allow rare decay processes of 1/4-BPS dyons, exploring special cases and potential links to multi-centered black holes.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive characterization of the moduli constraints enabling rare dyon decays, extending analysis to multi-particle decays and their relation to black hole configurations.
Findings
Complete set of moduli constraints identified
Analysis of special cases of decay processes
Discussion on relation to multi-centered black holes
Abstract
We obtain the complete set of constraints on the moduli of N=4 superstring compactifications that permit "rare" marginal decays of 1/4-BPS dyons to take place. The constraints are analysed in some special cases. The analysis extends in a straightforward way to multi-particle decays. We discuss the possible relation between general multi-particle decays and multi-centred black holes.
