Prasanta Kumar Das

TL;DR
This paper investigates how the recently observed HyperCP boson $X^0$ could influence flavor-changing neutral current decays in B and D mesons, deriving constraints on its coupling constants from experimental data.
Contribution
It provides the first analysis of the HyperCP boson's impact on specific meson decay processes and constrains its coupling constants based on decay data.
Findings
Constraints on scalar and pseudo-scalar couplings of $X^0$
Implications for flavor-changing neutral current processes
Potential guidance for future experimental searches
Abstract
We analyze the inclusive and the exclusive flavour changing neutral current decays in the light of HyperCP boson of mass 214 MeV recently observed in the hyperon decay . Using the branching ratio data of the above inclusive and exclusive decays, we obtain constraints on and , the scalar and pseudo-scalar coupling constants of the vertices.
