Fermion-Fermion Bound State Condition for Scalar Exchanges
Stefano De Leo, Pietro Rotelli

TL;DR
This paper derives the conditions under which two fermions can form a bound state through massive scalar exchange, highlighting differences between low and high scalar mass regimes.
Contribution
It provides a new bound state condition for fermion pairs exchanging massive scalars, extending previous scalar field model results to different mass regimes.
Findings
Reproduces scalar field model results at low scalar mass.
Derives a new inequality condition for high scalar mass.
Identifies differences in bound state conditions across scalar mass regimes.
Abstract
The condition for the existence of a bound state between two fermions exchanging massive scalars is derived. For low scalar mass, we reproduce the scalar field model result. The high scalar mass result exhibits a somewhat different inequality condition.
