TL;DR
This paper explores how neutrino mixing-induced vacuum condensates in quantum field theory could contribute to the universe's dark energy, offering a novel perspective on the dark energy puzzle.
Contribution
It introduces a new approach linking particle mixing phenomena to dark energy, emphasizing the role of vacuum condensates in cosmology.
Findings
Neutrino mixing induces vacuum condensates in quantum field theory.
Vacuum condensates from neutrino mixing can contribute to dark energy.
A new perspective on the dark energy puzzle through particle physics phenomena.
Abstract
We report on recent results on particle mixing and oscillations in quantum field theory. We discuss the role played in cosmology by the vacuum condensate induced by the neutrino mixing phenomenon. We show that it can contribute to the dark energy of the universe.
