Production at High $p_T$ in Central Au+Au and $p+p$ collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}} = 200$ GeV in STAR
P. Fachini (for the STAR collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports measurements of high-$p_T$ $ ho^0$ production in $p+p$, Au+Au, and central Au+Au collisions at 200 GeV, comparing results to pQCD predictions and analyzing nuclear modification factors.
Contribution
It provides new high-$p_T$ $ ho^0$ production data in various collision systems and tests pQCD models against experimental results.
Findings
$ ho^0/\pi$ ratio in $p+p$ agrees with PYTHIA predictions
Nuclear modification factors for $ ho^0$ are presented
Charged pion and (anti-)proton spectra are measured up to 15 GeV/$c$
Abstract
he production at high- (5.0 10.0 GeV/) measured in minimum bias , Au+Au and central Au+Au collisions in the STAR detector are presented. The ratio measured in is compared to PYTHIA calculations as a test of perturbative quantum chromodynamics (pQCD) that describes reasonably well particle production from hard processes. The nuclear modification factor are also presented. In collisions, charged pions and (anti-)protons are measured in the range 5.0 15.0 GeV/ and the anti-particle to particle ratio and the baryon to meson ratios of these hadrons are discussed.
