M.H.Zhu, L.G.Liu, D.X.Qi, Z.You, A.A.Xu

TL;DR
This paper introduces a many-knot spline method to effectively and efficiently smooth noisy spectroscopic data, expanding upon B-spline techniques to improve speed and noise reduction.
Contribution
The paper develops a novel many-knot spline method that enhances the speed of noise removal in spectroscopic data compared to traditional B-spline methods.
Findings
Significantly faster smoothing process
Effective noise reduction in spectroscopic data
Expansion of B-spline methodology
Abstract
In this paper, we present the development of a many-knot spline method derived to remove the statistical noise in the spectroscopic data. This method is an expansion of the B-spline method. Compared to the B-spline method, the many-knot spline method is significantly faster.
