On the Production of Jets and Hadrons
S.Mukherjee (nee Banerjee)

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that a statistical model accurately predicts jet cone angle ratios and hadron production distributions, aligning closely with experimental data, thus supporting the model's validity in high-energy particle physics.
Contribution
It shows that a statistical model can precisely predict jet cone ratios and hadron distribution behaviors, matching QCD and experimental results.
Findings
Jet cone angle ratios match QCD predictions.
Hadron distribution follows a power law.
Model's predictions align with experimental data.
Abstract
The ratio of the semivertical cone angles of the quark and gluon jets calculated in the statistical model is found to be in exact agreement with that derived from QCD.In hadron production also, the model's prediction of the power law type of behaviour for the inclusive distribtuion is strikingly close to the the corresponding experimental findings;these spectacular results are significant for the model to be realistic.
