Alex Buchel, Miguel Paulos

TL;DR
This paper calculates finite coupling corrections to second order hydrodynamic coefficients in a boost invariant expansion of N=4 SYM plasma, revealing universal behavior across similar strongly coupled conformal theories.
Contribution
It provides the first computation of finite coupling corrections to nonlinear second order hydrodynamics in boost invariant N=4 SYM plasma, demonstrating universality.
Findings
Finite coupling corrections to second order hydrodynamic coefficients calculated.
Results are universal for a broad class of strongly coupled conformal gauge theories.
Enhances understanding of hydrodynamics at finite coupling in gauge/gravity duality.
Abstract
We compute finite coupling correction to a nonlinear second order hydrodynamic coefficient in the boost invariant expansion of the N=4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills plasma. The result is universal for a large class of strongly coupled four dimensional conformal gauge theories.
