The BaBar Collaboration: B. Aubert, et al

TL;DR
This paper updates the measurements of the Y(4260) resonance parameters using initial-state radiation events at BABAR, providing more precise mass and width values and examining potential structures in the pi+pi-J/psi spectrum.
Contribution
It offers refined measurements of the Y(4260) resonance parameters and investigates the presence of additional structures in the pi+pi-J/psi mass spectrum.
Findings
Updated Y(4260) mass: 4252 MeV/c^2
Y(4260) width: 105 MeV
No confirmation of the 4.05 GeV/c^2 structure
Abstract
We present an update of the study of the Y(4260) resonance, produced in the process using initial-state radiation events at the PEP-II storage rings. This study is based on 454fb of data recorded with the {\slshape B\kern-0.1em{\smaller A}\kern-0.1em B\kern-0.1em{\smaller A\kern-0.2em R}} detector at a center-of-mass energy in the resonance region. From a fit with a single non-relativistic Breit-Wigner shape we obtain updated parameters for the Y(4260) resonance which are MeV/c and MeV/c; we also measure eV. We cannot confirm the recent BELLE observation of a broad structure around 4.05GeV/c in this decay mode.
