Observation of chi-b(1PJ,2PJ) decays to light hadrons
CLEO Collaboration: D. M. Asner, et al

TL;DR
This study measures the decay rates of chi_b(1PJ,2PJ) to light hadrons via Upsilon decays, providing first-time product branching fractions and limits on specific E1 transitions using CLEO data.
Contribution
First measurement of product branching fractions for chi_b(1PJ,2PJ) decays to light hadrons in Upsilon decays, including new decay mode observations and transition limits.
Findings
Observed significant signals in 14 light-hadron final states.
Measured product branching fractions for n=2 and 3 states.
Set upper limits on certain E1 transition rates.
Abstract
Analyzing decays acquired with the CLEO detector operating at the CESR collider, we measure for the first time the product branching fractions for and 3, where denotes, for each , one of the fourteen exclusive light-hadron final states for which we observe significant signals in both and decays. We also determine upper limits for the electric dipole (E1) transitions .
