ZZ boundary states and fragmented AdS2 spaces
Simone Giombi, Xi Yin

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that Liouville gravity with ZZ boundary conditions can be interpreted as fragmented AdS2 geometries and shows that three-point functions are dominated by multi-AdS2 instantons in the classical limit.
Contribution
It provides a semi-classical geometric interpretation of ZZ boundary states as fragmented AdS2 spaces and analyzes their three-point functions in the classical limit.
Findings
ZZ boundary states correspond to fragmented AdS2 geometries
Three-point functions are dominated by multi-AdS2 instantons
Liouville gravity with ZZ boundary conditions has a semi-classical geometric interpretation
Abstract
In this paper we show that Liouville gravity on the strip with Zamolodchikov-Zamolodchikov (ZZ) boundary conditions has a semi-classical interpretation in terms of fragmented AdS2 spacetime geometries. Further, we study the three-point functions of the ZZ boundary states, and show that they are dominated by multi-AdS2 instantons in the classical limit.
