Tracking and physics validation studies of the simplified geometry description with $B^0_{(s)} \to h^+h^{'-}$ decays
M. Gersabeck, E. Rodrigues

TL;DR
This study validates the simplified detector geometry for tracking and physics performance using $B^0_{(s)} o h^+h^{'-}$ decays, showing no significant performance loss compared to the full detector description.
Contribution
It demonstrates that the simplified geometry description maintains physics and tracking performance, enabling more efficient simulations.
Findings
No significant degradation in tracking performance
Physics analysis results are consistent with full geometry
Simplified geometry reduces computational resources
Abstract
This note validates the usage of the simplified detector geometry description. A sample of decays was used to assess the tracking and physics performance with respect to what is obtained with the full detector description. No significant degradation of performance was found.
