Experimental Results on Diffraction
Pierre Van Mechelen

TL;DR
This paper reviews experimental results on diffractive scattering from HERA and TEVATRON, including parton density functions, rapidity gap survival, and preparations for LHC observations.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of recent experimental findings and methodologies in diffractive scattering at major colliders.
Findings
Extraction of diffractive parton density functions at HERA
Measurement of rapidity gap survival probability at HERA
Observation of central exclusive production at TEVATRON
Abstract
Results on diffractive scattering observed at HERA and at the TEVATRON are reviewed. This includes the extraction of diffractive parton density functions and determination of the rapidity gap survival probability at HERA and the observation of central exclusive production of final states at the TEVATRON. Finally, preparations to observe diffractive signals at the LHC are discussed.
