TL;DR
This paper investigates the electromagnetic form factors of hadrons in the time-like region, emphasizing the role of strong interactions and proposing experiments to better understand baryon-antibaryon interactions near threshold.
Contribution
It introduces a new approach to analyze the energy dependence of hadron form factors and suggests experimental methods to extract baryon-antibaryon interaction data.
Findings
Imaginary parts of scattering lengths for p-anti-p, Lambda-anti-Lambda, Sigma0-anti-Sigma0 evaluated.
Energy behavior of form factors dominated by strong hadron-antihadron interactions.
Proposed experiments to extract near-threshold baryon-antibaryon interaction information.
Abstract
Hadron electromagnetic form factors of hadrons in the time-like region at the boundary of the physical region is considered. The energy behaviour of the form factor is shown to be dominantely determined by the strong hadron-antihadron interaction. The scattering length imaginary part for , , are evaluated. We propose experiments to extract the information on the nearthreshold baryon-antibaryon interaction by using of hadron form foctors.
