Memristor for Introductory Physics
Frank Y. Wang

TL;DR
This paper derives an analytical solution to the Strukov memristor model using basic algebra and calculus, illustrating the device's behavior with Lissajous figures of current versus voltage.
Contribution
It provides a simplified analytical derivation of the memristor model, making it accessible with fundamental mathematical tools.
Findings
Analytical solution to the memristor model derived
Lissajous figures illustrating current-voltage response presented
Abstract
Using basic algebra and simple calculus, the analytical solution to the memristor model of Strukov et al published in Nature is derived. Lissajous figures of current responding to a sinusoidal voltage are presented.
