TL;DR
This paper presents the design of bulk negative index photonic metamaterials suitable for direct laser writing, enabling feasible fabrication of complex structures around telecom wavelengths.
Contribution
It introduces novel bulk negative index metamaterials designed for direct laser writing, bridging design and practical fabrication at telecom wavelengths.
Findings
Designs of 1D and 2D negative index metamaterials around telecom wavelengths.
Bulk structures are inherently connected, facilitating fabrication.
Feasibility of direct laser writing and chemical vapor deposition for these structures.
Abstract
We show the designs of one- and two-dimensional photonic negative index metamaterials around telecom wavelengths. Designed bulk structures are inherently connected, which render their fabrication feasible by direct laser writing and chemical vapor deposition.
