Electroweak corrections to squark--anti-squark pair production at the LHC
Wolfgang Hollik, Edoardo Mirabella

TL;DR
This paper calculates the full next-to-leading order electroweak corrections to squark-anti-squark pair production at the LHC, highlighting their impact on non-top squark production in a specific supersymmetric scenario.
Contribution
It provides the first complete NLO electroweak correction calculation for diagonal squark-anti-squark production at the LHC, including effects on various squark flavors.
Findings
Electroweak corrections significantly affect production rates.
Corrections vary depending on squark flavor.
Results are relevant for SUSY searches at the LHC.
Abstract
We present the complete NLO electroweak contribution to the production of diagonal squark--anti-squark pairs in proton--proton collisions. We discuss their effects for the production of squarks different from top squarks, in the SPS1a' scenario.
