Quark-like particles in dual electromagnetic fields
Harry Schiff

TL;DR
This paper presents a classical field model with extended dual electromagnetic fields that predicts quark-like particles with fractional charges and confinement properties, offering insights into QCD confinement mechanisms.
Contribution
It introduces a novel classical field model that describes quark-like particles with fractional charges and confinement, linking dual electromagnetic fields to QCD concepts.
Findings
Particles exhibit fractional charges similar to quarks.
Confining energy creates an asymptotically free spherical surface.
Proposes combining confining energy measures with color in QCD.
Abstract
In a classical field model involving extended dual electromagnetic fields quark-like particles are shown to have fractional charges and a confining energy that provides an asymptotically free spherical surface. A suggestion is made for combining a measure of the confining energy with color in QCD.
