The energy-momentum of plane-fronted gravitational waves in the teleparallel equivalent of GR
J. W. Maluf, S. C. Ulhoa

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that within the teleparallel equivalent of general relativity, the gravitational energy-momentum of plane-fronted gravitational waves can be straightforwardly calculated and is found to be non-negative for static observers.
Contribution
It provides a simple method to compute gravitational energy-momentum in teleparallel gravity and confirms its non-negativity for a specific class of gravitational waves.
Findings
Energy-momentum is easily obtained in the teleparallel framework.
Gravitational energy-momentum is non-negative for static observers.
Method applies to arbitrary volumes containing plane-fronted gravitational waves.
Abstract
We show that in the framework of the teleparallel equivalent of general relativity the gravitational energy-momentum of plane-fronted gravitational waves contained in an arbitrary three-dimensional volume V may be easily obtained and is non-negative in the frame of static observers.
