Thermal hadron spectrum in $e^+e^-$ annihilation from gauge/string duality
Yoshitaka Hatta, Toshihiro Matsuo

TL;DR
This paper uses gauge/string duality to compute the inclusive particle spectrum in e+e- annihilation within confining gauge theories, revealing a thermal-like momentum distribution.
Contribution
It demonstrates that confining gauge theories with gravity duals produce a thermal spectrum in e+e- annihilation, a novel insight linking gauge/gravity duality to particle production.
Findings
Momentum distribution shows thermal behavior.
Supports gauge/gravity duality as a tool for particle spectrum analysis.
Provides a new perspective on confinement and thermalization in gauge theories.
Abstract
We compute the inclusive spectrum of produced particles in e+e- annihilation in confining gauge theories that have a gravity dual and show that the momentum distribution exhibits the thermal behavior.
