A note on Quantum Aspects of Multiple Membranes
James Bedford, David Berman

TL;DR
This paper explores quantum properties of the Bagger-Lambert theory for multiple membranes, focusing on the potential for finite one-loop renormalisation of the coupling constant.
Contribution
It provides an analysis of quantum effects in the Bagger-Lambert multiple membrane theory, specifically examining one-loop renormalisation possibilities.
Findings
Potential for finite one-loop renormalisation identified
Quantum corrections to the coupling constant analyzed
Implications for membrane theory consistency discussed
Abstract
In this note we investigate quantum aspects of the newly proposed theory of multiple membranes put forward by Bagger and Lambert. In particular we analyse the possibility of a finite renormalisation of the coupling at one loop.
