TL;DR
This paper presents new higher-dimensional non-Abelian black hole solutions in Born-Infeld gravity, exploring how the Born-Infeld parameter influences their properties and supports regular black holes at the origin.
Contribution
It introduces novel black hole solutions in various Einstein-Yang-Mills-Born-Infeld gravities, analyzing their behavior across different Born-Infeld parameter limits.
Findings
Solutions reduce to pure gravity as β→0.
Solutions reduce to gravity coupled with Yang-Mills fields as β→∞.
Existence of regular black holes supported by Born-Infeld parameter.
Abstract
We introduce new black hole solutions to the Einstein-Yang-Mills-Born-Infeld (EYMBI), Einstein-Yang-Mills-Born-Infeld-Gauss-Bonnet (EYMBIGB) and Einstein-Yang-Mills-Born-Infeld-Gauss-Bonnet-Lovelock (EYMBIGBL) gravities in higher dimensions to investigate the roles of Born-Infeld parameter . It is shown that, these solutions in the limits of and represent pure gravity and gravity coupled with Yang-Mills fields, respectively. For it yields a variety of black holes, supporting even regular ones at .
