TL;DR
This paper provides a simplified, theoretical overview of supernova events to help identify and understand non-standard supernovae that could offer significant scientific insights.
Contribution
It offers a concise, theoretical 'crib sheet' for recognizing and understanding atypical supernova events, aiding researchers in identifying potentially insightful phenomena.
Findings
Summarizes key theoretical aspects of supernovae.
Assists in recognizing non-standard supernovae.
Facilitates understanding of unusual supernova events.
Abstract
This paper summarizes our theoretical understanding of supernova events in a "back of the envelope" way. It is intended to aid in the recognition and understanding of those events which are not "standard", and which may provide the most insight.
