Pedestrian Dynamics With Event-driven Simulation
Mohcine Chraibi, Armin Seyfried

TL;DR
This paper presents an improved social-force model for pedestrian dynamics that better matches empirical data and enables more efficient event-driven simulations.
Contribution
It introduces a modified social-force model that improves accuracy and computational efficiency in pedestrian dynamic simulations.
Findings
Enhanced model aligns well with empirical fundamental diagrams.
Simulation results demonstrate improved efficiency.
Model modifications lead to better representation of pedestrian behavior.
Abstract
The social-force model is systematically modified to achieve a satisfying agreement with the fundamental diagram. Furthermore, our modification allows an efficient computation of the simulation. Finally, different simulation-results will be compared to empirical data.
