Multiple Interactions in Herwig++
Manuel B\"ahr, Stefan Gieseke, Michael H. Seymour

TL;DR
This paper introduces a new multiple partonic interactions model in Herwig++, demonstrating good agreement with CDF data and providing extrapolations for LHC predictions while discussing PDF uncertainties.
Contribution
A novel multiple interactions model implemented in Herwig++ with tuned parameters for improved event simulation accuracy.
Findings
Good description of CDF underlying event data
Extrapolations to LHC energies presented
Discussion of intrinsic PDF uncertainties included
Abstract
In this contribution we describe a new model of multiple partonic interactions that has been implemented in Herwig++. Tuning its two free parameters we find a good description of CDF underlying event data. We show extrapolations to the LHC and discuss intrinsic PDF uncertainties.
