Measurements from KTeV of Rare Decays of the K_L and pi^0
E. D. Zimmerman

TL;DR
The KTeV collaboration conducted measurements of rare decay modes of the neutral kaon and pion, including searches for lepton flavor violation and studies of parity properties, providing new experimental data on these processes.
Contribution
This work presents new measurements and searches for rare decay modes of K_L and pi^0, including lepton flavor violation and parity analysis, expanding understanding of these decays.
Findings
No lepton flavor violating decays observed
New measurements of pi^0 -> e^+e^-e^+e^- decay properties
Constraints on theoretical models of rare decays
Abstract
The KTeV collaboration at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory has recently completed searches for and measurements of several decay modes of the neutral kaon and pion. These include new searches for lepton flavor violating decays (which have not been seen), and a new study of the parity properties of the decay pi^0 -> e^+e^-e^+e^-.
