Wave function derivation of the JIMWLK equation
Alexey V. Popov

TL;DR
This paper rigorously derives the JIMWLK equation using stationary lightcone perturbation theory, emphasizing the importance of a second-order accurate boosted wave function, and clarifies limitations of previous approaches.
Contribution
It provides a complete derivation of the JIMWLK equation with a focus on wave function accuracy, improving upon prior incomplete methods.
Findings
Rigorous derivation of the JIMWLK equation
Highlights the necessity of second-order wave function accuracy
Identifies limitations of previous wave function approaches
Abstract
Using the stationary lightcone perturbation theory, we propose the complete and careful derivation the JIMWLK equation. We show that the rigorous treatment requires the knowledge of a boosted wave function with second order accuracy. Previous wave function approaches are incomplete and implicitly used the time ordered perturbation theory, which requires a usage of an external target field.
