Kanabu Nawa, Hideo Suganuma, Toru Kojo

TL;DR
This paper explores baryons and baryonic matter within holographic QCD using a multi-brane system, revealing a topological soliton description and a novel pion dominance phenomenon near critical density.
Contribution
It introduces the concept of brane-induced Skyrmions as baryons in holographic QCD and analyzes baryonic matter on a closed manifold, highlighting pion dominance at high density.
Findings
Baryons are modeled as topological solitons called brane-induced Skyrmions.
Baryonic matter exhibits pion dominance near the critical density.
The study provides a new perspective on dense QCD matter in holographic models.
Abstract
We study baryons and baryonic matter in holographic QCD with multi- brane system. In large- holographic QCD, the baryon appears as a topologically non-trivial chiral soliton, which is called ``brane-induced Skyrmion''. We also analyze the features of the baryonic matter in holographic QCD by investigating the system of single brane-induced Skyrmion on a three-dimensional closed manifold . We propose a new interesting picture of ``pion dominance'' near the critical density.
