TL;DR
This paper uses the Linear Sigma Model to predict radiative decay rates of vector and scalar mesons, aligning well with current experimental data and providing estimates for unmeasured decay widths.
Contribution
It applies the Linear Sigma Model to calculate specific meson decay processes, offering predictions that match experimental results and extending understanding of these decays.
Findings
Successfully reproduces experimental branching ratios
Provides estimates for unmeasured decay widths
Supports ongoing experimental investigations
Abstract
The radiative decays and with and are calculated within the framework of the Linear Sigma Model. Current experimental data on the and branching ratios and the ratio are satisfactorily accommodated in our approach. We also estimate the decay widths of the transitions. All the processes considered are of interest for ongoing experimental programs in Frascati, J\"ulich and Novosibirsk.
