TL;DR
This paper investigates the 2-flavor NJL model at finite temperature and density using dimensional regularization, analyzing meson masses, phase structure, and color superconductivity, and compares results with cutoff regularization methods.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed study of the NJL model with dimensional regularization at finite T and μ, including phase structure and meson mass calculations, extending previous cutoff-based analyses.
Findings
Phase diagrams of chiral and color symmetry identified.
Meson masses computed at various T and μ.
Comparison shows differences between dimensional and cutoff regularization.
Abstract
We study the 2-flavor Nambu--Jona-Lasinio (NJL) model at finite temperature, , and chemical potential, , in the dimensional regularization. The pion and sigma meson masses are calculated at finite and . The color superconductivity is also discussed in the extended NJL model. We obtain the phase structure of the chiral and color symmetry in the dimensional regularization and compare the results with ones obtained in the cut-off regularization.
