TL;DR
This paper demonstrates an exactly solvable point in a one-dimensional SU(N) Kondo model with an impurity spin, revealing multiple collective excitation modes through bosonization and canonical transformation.
Contribution
It introduces an explicit solvable point in the SU(N) Kondo model and characterizes its excitation modes using analytical methods.
Findings
Existence of an exactly solvable point in the model
Identification of n collective excitation modes
One charged and n-1 neutral spin modes
Abstract
We study a single channel one dimensional Kondo Model where the impurity spin is replaced by an su(n) spin. Using Abelian bosonization and canonical transformation we explicitly show that this system has an exactly solvable point. The calculation also shows that there are collective excitation modes in the system, one charged and neutral spin excitation modes.
