Photons from Jet - Plasma Interaction in collisional energy loss scenario
Lusaka Bhattacharya, Pradip k Roy

TL;DR
This paper models photon production from jet-plasma interactions in a collisional energy loss scenario, successfully reproducing experimental data by including photons from initial hard collisions.
Contribution
It introduces a calculation of photon emission considering collisional energy loss and accounts for initial hard collision photons, enhancing understanding of photon sources in such scenarios.
Findings
PHENIX photon data is well reproduced.
Photons from initial hard collisions are significant.
Collisional energy loss scenario explains photon production.
Abstract
We calculate photons from jet plasma interaction in a collisional energy loss scenario. It is shown that the PHENIX photon data is well reproduced when photons from initial hard collisions are taken into account.
