Zhenting Hou, Li Tan, Dinghua Shi

TL;DR
This paper rigorously proves the existence and provides a precise expression for the degree distribution in the LCD model using Markov chain first-passage probabilities.
Contribution
It offers a strict proof of degree distribution existence and a detailed expression for the LCD model, enhancing theoretical understanding.
Findings
Confirmed the existence of degree distribution in the LCD model
Derived a precise formula for the degree distribution
Strengthened theoretical foundations of the LCD model
Abstract
In this paper, first-passage probability of Markov chains is used to get a strict proof of the existence of degree distribution of the LCD model presented by Bollobas (Random Structures and Algorithms 18(2001)). Also, a precise expression of degree distribution is presented.
