Heavy-heavy-light quark potential in two approaches
Arata Yamamoto, Hideo Suganuma (Kyoto U.), Hideaki Iida (Kyoto U.,, Yukawa Inst., Kyoto)

TL;DR
This paper investigates the heavy-heavy-light quark potential using lattice QCD and potential models, revealing that valence quark motion reduces the confining force compared to the string tension.
Contribution
It is the first study to analyze the heavy-heavy-light quark potential in both lattice QCD and potential models, highlighting the impact of valence quark motion.
Findings
Valence quark motion decreases the confining force.
The inter-two-quark confining force is less than the string tension.
First combined lattice QCD and potential model analysis of this potential.
Abstract
We perform the first study about the heavy-heavy-light quark potential in lattice QCD and a potential model. We find that the inter-two-quark confining force is reduced by valence quark motional effects compared to the string tension.
